Before retiring from the police service I was an experienced and qualified assessor who  interviewed officers for specialist posts and assessed officers at promotion assessment centres for middle management ranks . Since leaving the police I have successfully coached many applicants for the Police Service of N Ireland (PSNI) and other police forces.

The N Ireland Prison Service have recently advertised for officers and I am pleased to offer my assistance to those who are applying for a post. As more information on the process emerges I will provide more specific ideas on the service and help I can provide. Usually I would offer a class setting out the competencies/skills/qualities being assessed and in addition also provide a one to one assessment giving a candidate positive and helpful feedback on their performance.
